Evening Venue Hire at Oxen Park Farm
We love to host evening events here in our Cob Barn, from simple barn hire to fully hosted parties with abundant food, cider & cocktail bar, and even a wood-fired hot tub. Located in 60 acres of biodynamic farming and re-wilded land, we'd love to welcome you to Oxen Park Farm and help you run a really successful, beautiful and heartfelt event.

The Cob Barn
We love to host evening events here, and our Cob Barn is great for live music, dance, theatre, film and other evening gatherings.
We can prepare an empty space, or set it with chairs, benches, sheepskin rugs, projector & PA to your requirement. We can light a cosy wood burner or open the double doors onto the views of our garden and the hill beyond.
The Cob Barn is a versatile space that lends itself to intimate evenings of discussion as well as parties with music & dancing. (We can even recommend our local ceilidh band if you are looking for inspiration!).
Locally grown & home-made food is available as well as our Dock & Thistle bar and gorgeous wood fired hot tub - see our event extras below.
Off-peak rates for locals, charities & CICs
We offer a special rate for small gatherings that would benefit from lower rates in our off-peak times.
Offered in the off-season (October – March inclusive) any day. In high-season (April-September) Mondays – Thursdays only (we cannot take bookings more than 2 months in advance at this time).
Event Catering
Food is a big part of what we do here at Oxen Park Farm - we love to grow it, cook it, and share it with our guests. We can provide a simple supper of stew/soup with rice or flatbreads, or allow us to host your event with a full pizza fest, curry barm and pudding.
All our meals are prepared from local ingredients, organically grown on the farm or sourced from other local food growers where possible.
All meals are vegetarian. Vegan food can be provided on request.
Gluten-friendly food is also available on request (this means that the food is prepared in the same kitchen as gluten food but kept separate and all efforts have been made to keep it away from gluten foods). Please declare all allergies to your event contact in advance of and your host team on arrival.
The Dock & Thistle
Our well stocked & staffed bar is available by arrangement. We can serve farm cider, wine, soft drinks and cocktails by arrangement. We can also provide sweet & savoury bar snacks on request.
The Dock & Thistle bar is booked by paying a deposit which is refunded when bar takings have covered our staffing costs.

Wood Fired Hot Tub
Enjoy our fun 10-person hot tub with a great view under the stars with an open-air hot shower and changing area.
The Hot Tub is booked by half-day periods, made ready for the afternoon or the evening of your event. This is lit and monitored by farm-staff and can be enjoyed under the stars overlooking the farm and the beautiful Teign Valley.
