Event Extras
The Dock & Thistle bar
The Dock & Thistle is our well stocked & staffed bar which is available for your event. Our cash-only bar serves farm cider, wine, farm apple juice, warm & cold soft drinks and one cocktail / spirit mixer of your choosing. We can also provide sweet and savoury bar snacks on request.
The price for hiring the bar is £160. The Dock & Thistle opens at 6pm and closes at 11pm.
Alternatively, if you would like to provide drinks for your guests, you can supply these to us and we can serve them for you. This is charged at £160, plus £15 per hour (for events up to 75 people, £30 per hour for events up to 180 people). You can choose your bar opening hours, finishing at 11pm.

Wood Fired Hot Tub
Enjoy our fun 10-person hot tub with a great view under the stars overlooking the farm and the beautiful Teign Valley. Nestled into the hedgerow, alongside the hot tub there is an open-air hot shower and changing area.
The Hot Tub comfortably seats 10 adults, and once lit stays warm for hours. Booked by the half-day, your hot tub can be prepared for the afternoon or the evening of your event. This is lit and monitored by farm-staff. The price per hot tub is £160.

The Bushcraft Shelter
Our Bushcraft Shelter is an additional outdoor meeting space. It can accommodate a central fire pit and can be enclosed with side panels or left open-sided.
A cost of £400 includes the shelter being put up with or without sides, including the wood for a firepit, for the duration of your stay.
Please note, that if the weather forecasts gusts of 35mph or more, we cannot put up the Bushcraft Shelter for safety reasons.

Bell tent Hire
Bell tents are available to hire for your multi-day booking. There are a variety of 3m, 4m, 5m & 6m tents,nthat are provided with mattresses. All you need to do is bring your bedding for a comfy night's sleep.
We have multiple bell tents available for hire at £200. This includes 3 nights of camping, with extra nights charged at £25.

Mongolian Yurt
Our beautiful 19' Mongolian Yurt has a beautiful wooden floor, a large woodburner (wood is included in the booking price), fairy lights, electricity with three outlets. The yurt is a no-shoe zone - benches and coat hooks are provided in the porch. The yurt comes with mattresses (up to 6 singles, or one double and three singles) - all you need to do is bring bedding.
£300 includes your first 3 nights, with extra nights charged at £45.

Sunflowers
We encourage people to celebrate what is from the land, and sunflowers are one of our signature crops. During our sunflower season (usually June-October, but this varies year to year), you can buy sunflowers to adorn the venue. Other flowers may be available at other times of the year – please do talk to us, or. we can put you in touch with a local flower grower.
£100 for 250 stems of sunflowers. Please consider buying your flowers from us rather than bringing flowers grown in heated glass houses.
The Fortunes - our local ceilidh band
The Fortunes are a ceilidh band from the Teign valley who play dance music, old and new as well as some of their own tunes. They've played a number of ceilidh's at On the Hill accompanied by the band's caller 'Lady Luck'. Our cob barn is the perfect space for a ceilidh and with the support of Lady Luck and the Fortunes you're very likely to have a wild night of dancing!
