Gatherings & Feasts

Food and feasting is at the heart of what we do. It is part of our commitment to nourish, connect and celebrate the community and land we live on. All our meals are made with organically grown produce harvested from our own vegetable beds and, where possible other local producers that share our approach to regenerative farming and sustainability.

Our Food Offering

From a simple breakfast, pancakes on an open fire, to soups, flatbreads, curries and pizza fests, we love catering food that brings people together. 

All our food is vegetarian or vegan. While we are not able to provide a completely gluten-free environment we can provide gluten-free options throughout our menus.

 

Our approach

We believe in honouring not only the land but the people and process behind every plate: from those who sow and harvest, to those who cook and serve. The farm is a living community of people, as well as produce, livestock and enterprise. It exists because of the thought, work and tending of many hands over many years.

Some of this is powerfully achieved by strong and seasonal tides of volunteers who give their time on the farm in exchange for skills, food, accommodation and insight into the work we do here on the farm. We are forever grateful for the time given and imprints left by such a rich variety of people. In addition to this, we employ a core team of supporters to help run events and create the smoothest possible experience for you.

Fair pay, respect and collaboration are central to our ethos. In particular, we recognise that working with the land means embracing its natural rhythms and changes.This means our menus and costs shift with the seasons and harvests, a reflection of real food and real people working together to create collaborative and dynamic gatherings that are both sustainable and regenerative in every sense.

Daytime Meeting Catering

Allow us to cater for your meeting with hot drinks, morning or afternoon snacks, and a hearty lunch of soup, bread & salad.

  • Up to 20 people: £20 per person
  • Up to 40 people: £19 per person
  • Up to 60 people: £18 per person
  • Up to 80 people: £17 per person
  • Up to 100 people: £16 per person

Dietary Requirements / Allergies

We do everything we can to accommodate dietary requirements & allergies, but there are limitations as we have only one kitchen. 

We are very used to catering for gluten intolerances, and provide "gluten-friendly" food options. These are prepared separately from food containing gluten, however, the same kitchen is being used and therefore we are not able to guarantee the food to be absolutely contamination-free for those with serious allergies.

The same is true of those with nut allergies. We can create food without nuts, and be clear when serving food to guests, however, with one kitchen, we cannot guarantee a 100% nut-free environment for those with serious nut allergies.

All of our food is vegetarian, and is often dairy-free & vegan. We can create vegan / dairy-free alternatives if requested. All food will be clearly labelled and communicated by those serving food.

We ask that all food intolerances, allergies & dietary requirements are discussed with our team when booking the catering for your event, and also at the start of your booking once you are onsite.

Hiring our Kitchen

You can choose to cater for your own gathering. 

One of our team will introduce you to our kitchen and hand over with a document and checklist that is then handed back with one of our team at the end of your booking. Our kitchen comes with simple utensils including a small jug blender and one full-length fridge. If you require more refrigerated space, or specific equipment please bring them along, ensuring that they have been P.A.T tested.   

Due to the size and nature of our facilities we cannot offer a hybrid of self-catered and catered bookings. The pizza oven is not included in your hire - you can however hire it along with a member of staff to run it for you during your event.
